Seven years building products in home energy and construction technology. I own the installer and homeowner experience for a heat-pump control platform — the hardware in the cupboard, the firmware on it, the app in your pocket, and the monitoring behind all three. Making those four agree is most of the job, and it is not a span many product managers have had to hold.

The work matters to me beyond the product. Getting heat pumps to behave well in real houses, on real tariffs, for people who did not ask to become energy experts, is one of the few places where good product decisions show up as lower bills and less carbon at the same time.
